Embrace Natural Healing with Dr. Hegde Nisarga – Your Path to Wellness and Vitality.

In His Own Words

A Journey Rooted in Passion for Wellness – Dr. Venkatramana Hegde

I was born and raised in an agricultural family in the peaceful village of Uttar Kannada, where nature was my constant companion. Growing up surrounded by the simplicity and healing power of nature, I developed a profound appreciation for the natural world and its ability to restore health. My journey into naturopathy was born from this love, and I went on to pursue my graduation in BNYS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

What began as a dream soon became a reality. In 2002, I established a Naturopathy Hospital in Sirsi, a 60-bed naturopathy hospital. The goal was simple – to provide people with an opportunity to experience the powerful healing abilities of nature. As my journey continued, I realized that healing is a transformative experience. In 2015, I founded Nisarga Mane, Veda Wellness Center, an AYUSH-registered hospital, nestled just 3 kilometers from Sirsi, with the motto “Return to Nature” and a mission to reverse various health disorders through the power of natural healing.

In 2023, I expanded my vision by establishing the first branch of Kanaka Nisarga Mane in the serene town of Kaginele. With this new location, we aim to extend the benefits of holistic health treatments to even more people in need, while staying true to our core principles of nature-based healing.

As the President of Nisarga Charitable Trust, my work extends beyond the hospitals. I coordinate multiple initiatives aimed at community health education and wellness. I’ve had the privilege of delivering health programs across Karnataka, and I continue to inspire people through motivational talks and expert advice on holistic health. The power of sharing knowledge has always been my passion.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work has been my connection to the public through electronic media. My health education programs, including the popular speech “Arogyakkagi Panchasutragalu,” have gained widespread recognition. I have also been invited to speak on various TV programs such as Arogya Bharathi Nisarga Health Club and other regional health talks, reaching out to thousands of viewers with practical health advice.

For years, I have been writing health articles, contributing over 1,100 pieces to leading Kannada newspapers, and currently, my health column is featured in Vijayvani, where I share holistic remedies, tips, and ideas for better living. Through my writing, I aim to make health knowledge accessible and actionable for everyone.

I’ve been invited to speak at international Kannada cultural meets across the world, where I have shared my vision of health and wellness. Over the years, I have also been deeply involved in research, having led three Central Government health research projects as Principal Investigator, with the findings published in international journals. My commitment to advancing health through research and innovation has been a core part of my professional journey.

One of my proudest achievements is the introduction of Yoga for Memory and Concentration, a concept I pioneered to help school children enhance their cognitive abilities. This initiative, adopted by the Karnataka Education Department, has benefited lakhs of students, helping them focus and improve their memory. It is incredibly fulfilling to know that the work I do is contributing to the future of our young minds.

My journey has been both humbling and enriching, and I’ve had the opportunity to treat over a lakh of individuals through free health camps across the state. Every patient’s story inspires me, and I am grateful for every opportunity to share my knowledge through TV channels like Udaya TV and Praja TV, where I’ve hosted over 200 episodes of “Nativaidya” and “Aharadalli Arogya”. These platforms have allowed me to reach out to individuals in need of healing and show them how natural therapies can transform their health.

I am proud of the milestones I’ve achieved, but the true joy comes from seeing my work positively impact the lives of thousands of people. My mission has always been clear: to bring people back to nature, to heal through holistic practices, and to make health accessible to all.

Every day is a new opportunity to make a difference, and I am grateful for the trust people place in me. This journey continues, with the vision of a healthier, happier world powered by the wisdom of nature.
